Rick Hasz of the Gift of Life Donor Program in Philadelphia catnapped on his sofa last night. His telephone kept ringing with questions about a high school student who had been declared brain dead and would become an organ donor. The night was not unusual for Hasz or for Gift of Life. In every community across America, such donor programs are at work 24 hours a day.
